Increase level of collaboration

Currently students aren't able to efficiently collaborate with one another in terms of course material and scientific projects. Having the option of collaboration could substantially increase the value of the demonstrations. We need to allow collaboration/openness optional, and set some ground rules about how this will go.

My thoughts:

• Understand how to do a schedule with student sign-ups (#4 (closed))
• Develop a signal for whether students DO or do NOT want to allow others to view
• Provide instructions to students on how to sign up and signal
• All demos will occur in breakout rooms
• All students must abide by the UAB Student Conduct Code (add this to the syllabus)

During the sessions that are shared

• Students who are not presenting are there primarily as observers.
• Observers should stay muted during the presentation.
• Observers may offer comments in chat, adhering to appropriate guidelines (Conduct Code, and main rule #1 (closed) don't be a jerk)
• Instructors may ask questions or make comments during the demonstration
