Issues with Creating and Launching OOD Jobs due to SSH and HTTP Proxy IP Configuration

We experienced issues with the SSH and HTTP proxy IP settings in /etc/hosts while connected to the VPN. @bhbelay and I tested and observed the following problems:

Accessing OOD with BlazerID account:

1. Launching HPC desktop results in a VNC error

2. Launching RStudio Server and Jupyter notebook jobs causes the error: The request URL was not found on the server

Accessing OOD with XIAS account:

1. The Launch button freezes when attempting to create an HPC desktop session.
2. For RStudio and Jupyter Notebook, the status shows "Queued" and then immediately switches to "completed"

@prema could you retry with the new deploy we have and report if you still see this issue. the fix in the new deploy should address the issue you were seeing

@krish94 please link to the code fix. It will be good if we can connect these bug reports with the code that fixes the bug.

Okay, I found the issue with HPC Desktop on gpfs5 side. It's the form setting that we fixed a while ago. Not sure why it did not get updated in Knightly build.

How does this fix the Xias accounts issue?

Regarding HPC Dekstop launch button not functioning, I am assuming the XIAS account is on gpfs5 side, and it seems like there are some inconsistency between login004 and ood-gpfs5-01, the knightly ood build.

Regarding the RStudio server, I did notice the job disappear shortly after submit the job, with both blazer id and XIAS account.But I then resubmitted another one, and it worked. I am not sure what causes this issue yet.
