# Center for Computational Genomics and Data Science

The purpose of the CGDS is the application of multi-omics Data Science and other Healthcare Innovations to drive the
Discovery, Development, and Delivery of Diagnostic research in alignment with excellence within UAB School of Medicine
(SOM) through education, patient care, basic research, translational research, and clinical research.
