# Liz's Commitment

- Your time, effort, and well-being are valuable to me and I will do my utmost to help you in your work, take your best
interests to heart, and direct your efforts in ways that benefit you first and foremost.

- I will do everything in my power to enable you to accomplish what you want to achieve in your work by securing funding,
establishing important collaborations, and working to acquire the resources necessary for you to be successful.

- I will invest in and work towards a friendly and pleasant working environment, and I will consider the input of team
members when making important decisions (including hiring decisions).

- I will always support you in your career and life goals, whatever they may be.

- I will be someone that you can come and talk to about anything that is affecting you at work. Or even as needed
sometimes out of work stuff :D

- My goal is for every member of the team to be and to feel accomplished and professionally satisfied. I will support
you with ongoing learning, acquiring independence, working on projects you feel are important, improving your writing,
developing excellent presentation skills, and finding opportunities for peer networking and other networking.  

- If tensions do arise, I will always make time to help deal with them; please reach out. I will listen and I will try
to be unbiased and to resolve the situation.

- I want you to have fun and to enjoy working in this team; that is how we will accomplish the hard work needed to make
a difference, and I will work together with you to make it happen!
